- Institution & Staff Information: Name, email, phone number, institution name, branch location, staff roles, and academic course offerings.
- Student Information: Student full name, roll number, assigned batch, course enrollment, academic year/term, emergency contact, and attendance records.
- Guardian / Parent Information: Guardian name, phone number (used for WhatsApp fee receipts and attendance alerts), relationship to student, and communication preferences.
- Academic & Fee Records: Tuition fee plans, invoice payment history, transaction references, test marks, and uploaded study materials.
- Technical & Usage Information: IP address, browser type, device details, and log data collected automatically to ensure system security and uptime.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely for institutional operations and academic administration:
- Enabling student admissions, course enrollments, and batch timetable coordination.
- Generating automated tuition fee invoices, payment ledgers, and instant WhatsApp receipts.
- Delivering daily class attendance updates and absence notifications to parents.
- Facilitating test score recording and student report card generation.
- Enabling teachers to share homework assignments and study notes.
- Sending important institution broadcasts, schedule changes, and birthday greetings.

- Zero Data Selling: ClassTie does not sell, rent, or monetize student, guardian, or institution data to advertisers or third-party brokers.
- Role-Based Access Control: Only authorized faculty and administrators within an institution can view student academic and fee records.
- Encryption: All data transmitted between user devices and ClassTie servers is secured using TLS/HTTPS encryption.

ClassTie interfaces with trusted service providers to deliver operational capabilities:
- WhatsApp Cloud API: For delivering verified tuition fee receipts, payment reminders, and class attendance notices to parent phone numbers.
- Cloud Infrastructure: High-availability cloud databases and storage for file materials and system records.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Institution records are retained for the duration of the institution's active account. Institutions may request full deletion or export of their student and billing records by contacting support.
